Abstract

Oribates edaphiques du Bresil (III) Oribates de l ile du Cardoso (Deuxieme Partie) - This paper is the second part of a study on the oribatid soil fauna from Cardoso Island (Sâo Paulo State, Brazil). Fifteen species and subspecies are described or recorded, namely Teratoppia uspiensis Perez-lfiigo and Baggio, 1980; Brasiloppia flechtmanni n. g. et n. sp.; Beckiella arcta n. sp.; Galumna innexa n. sp.; Pergalumna decoratissima n. sp.; Pergalumna parva n. sp.; Pergalumna plumata n. sp.; Pergalumna aegra n. sp.; Pergalumna cardosensis n. sp.; Scheloribates artigasi Perez-lfiigo and Baggio, 1980; Scheloribates praeincisus rotundiclava n. ssp.; Scheloribates praeincisus acuticlava n. ssp.; Rostrozetes foveolatus Sellnick, 1925; Peloribates anomalus Perez-lfiigo and Baggio, 1980 and Mochlozetes sp. Keys have been introduced when it has been possible. Ail the descriptions of new species and subspecies are accompanied by drawings. A new figure of Teratoppia uspiensis is added in arder to complete the description of this species.
