Abstract

Allothrombium pulvinum Ewing is newly recorded from two northern provinces, Mazandaran and Gilan, in Iran. Adults and larvae were correlated through laboratory rearing. Metric data of both adults and larvae are given. In Iran, this species was found on many plants such as citrus, mulberry, apple, walnut and forest trees, but was most abundant in citrus. A. pulvinum larvae were parasitic on aphids on various plants in a citrus orchard in May.
