Abstract
A cercomegistine mite Pyroseiulus kethleyi gen. et sp. nov. (Mesostigmata: Trigynaspida: Cercomegistoidea: Pyrosejidae) from leaf litter in southern Mexico is described for the adults. A new definition for the family, a key to the genera, and a chaetotaxy on body and legs are provided.
