Abstract

The comparative description of the regressive naso of three Penthalodidae genera shows that the tectum existing in Penthalodes is not homologous with that of Stereotydeus, and that it does not constitute a fundamental character of the family, in which Protopenthalodes can be placed. Anatomy, ultrastructure and fonctionning of the eyes.
