Abstract
Twenty three species of the family Phytoseiidae are known from La Reunion Island, France, of which 14 are newly recorded (10 Amblyseiinae, 2 Phytoseiinae and 2 Typhlodrominae). The subfamily Typhlodrominae is mentioned for the first time from the island. Additional host plants and locality records are also given for 5 species of Amblyseiinae already recorded, as well as for the newly recorded species. Brief descriptions of all the species are given.
